Five Iranian women soccer players chose freedom over fear. After refusing to sing the national anthem—a silent strike against systemic oppression—they are now "Wartime Traitors" in the eyes of the regime.
While three players were forced to return due to severe threats against their families, Atefeh Ramezanizadeh and Fatemeh Pasandideh remain in Australia, standing firm for the movement. They are currently being monitored by regime security and face arbitrary detention or worse if forced to return.
We call on FIFA, the IOC, and the Australian Government to take immediate, professional action:
✅ PERMANENT ASYLUM: Immediate humanitarian visas and 24/7 physical security for the defectors.
🏳️ NEUTRAL FLAG STATUS: Grant these athletes the right to compete under a neutral flag, stripping the regime of the "Sporting Glory" used to mask human rights abuses.
🛑 STOP HOSTAGE DIPLOMACY: Sanction the Iranian Football Federation for using family members as leverage to force athletes back into danger.
"A protest is a moment. Their safety is a movement."
